All you can drink...

One of our favorite activities to do together is brunch. Of course, you can't have brunch without champagne!  It's even better when we can find all you can drink specials. Today, we went to Backyard Pizza and enjoyed all you can drink mimosas and poinsettias. Amazing!  If you happen upon such a special, we have some advice:

1.  Partake

2.  Refer to number one

3.  Keep count so you know if you have your money's worth. 

4.  If you get below $1 a drink, you're a champ!

5.  When your server stops asking if you want refills and yet your glass is never empty, you've won. 

6. Stop when you start taking our pants off in public.

Coming together...once again

We are three friends who have been geographically isolated (Amy, Jen, & Joshua).   We are three best friends who will never come apart from the drink.  We tend to drink much when we are together.
Last night we watched Casablanca and since then we have been more than slightly obsessed with champagne cocktails.  So tonight we have enjoyed their deliciousness.  If you want to make your own, here's the recipe:

1 sugar cube
2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
1 oz of brandy
Champagne
Cherry for garnish

Place the sugar cube in your champagne glass.  Pour the bitters on the cube.  Pour in the brandy (we used Cognac...yum).  Then add the champagne and garnish with the cherry.  Deliciousness.
